Have the police got theyre priorities wrong?

a neighbour got burgled 2 year ago, i saw the burglars in the house and phoned the police straight away and said they are still in the house, the police turned up 2 days later after they had gone

today a neighbour has a dustbin pinched, police are there in 10 minutes, the garden is sealed off with tape, and they're doing house to house enquiries

lol, i thought someone had been murdered when they knocked on the door, but a losy dustbin lol

Yeah, that does sound like it's a little messed up. Maybe the neighbor with the stolen dustbin knows someone on the force or has a family member who works for them. That does sound weird that they would tape it off and knock on doors over it. Maybe there's something more going on but they can't say. Who knows. But you're right, it does seem messed up.

there was a sunday afternoon , 4 hour joy-riding police helicopter , followed by a door to door enquiry. this was because a bunch of kids were seen twanging car wing mirrors. no damage was done. i think the police like to keep themselves amused without doing anything to protect the public. and also, they have to keep crime figures down so it looked good for our ex labour government.
