Now that GM and Chrysler are going bankrupt, what kind of cars do you think we will start seeing on the road? In my opinion we are already seeing a shift from large SUVs, do you think this trend will continue? Will we see the same cars on the road in 5 years? What are your thoughts?

To be honest, the odds are pretty good that they'll both be out of business in 5 years. Cutting the # of dealers to increase dealer profit (at customer expense) is going to make a lot of customers foaming-at-the-mouth angry. That's what got GM in this shape. Ask people who don't buy American cars; they'll tell you that something or other made them angry 5 or 15 or 25 years ago. Look at this post above, where it says "would not now even consider purchase of a new Fiat/Chrysler" and you'll see what I mean. I feel the same way. I'm the kind of guy that would buy a new Chrysler, maybe tomorrow. Guess what - they shut my dealer down. Because the government doesn't want me to have a local dealer. They can kiss my ***.
Have you heard what Fiat paid for Chrysler? You should look into that.
