Do ASIS Australian Security Intelligence Service carry guns

Do ASIS (Australian Security Intelligence Service) carry guns?

Do they do joint operations with the CIA and/or Mi6?
Do they do anything exciting like that or is that the AFP (Australian Federal Police) or ASIO (Australian Security Intelligence Organization)

I'm Australian and don't know much about procedures but I do know the average policeman carries a gun,well a 9mm Pistol (unlike U.K) . I dare say the Special forces use the same assault rifles as the AIF which is the Steyr bull pup, but don't take my word for it without checking. Unfortunatley I know more about WW2 and Z Force (Early type of SAS with elite soldier from countries such as Australian/South African/New Zealand and England.
