Recovery console wants administrator password?but i never set one. I went into the bios setup
and set a password. when i went to recovery afain, they said it wasnt valid.

The CMOS Setup password is not the same as the Windows administrator password. By defaults it's nothing. Try just hitting enter when it asks for the password.
