Grammar help - Apostrophe after advert?"That advert's horrible"
or
"That adverts' horrible"
Referring to ONE advert. Microsoft Word says it's adverts'.

I would say 'advert's' because the apostrophe is replacing the 'i' in 'is'. If the apostrophe wasn't there it would be 'that advert is horrible'.
I agree with Ali. A singular noun not ending in "s" gets an apostrophe s. So it should be advert's
