What are the cons about the U.S. goint to war in Syria?

Preparing a speech for class tomorrow about the cons of the U.S. going to war in Syria. Can someone please lend me a hand, brief or specific, anything is a great help.

Answers:

First we have failed in the other three places where we supported the rebels.
Iraq is not in civil war
Egypt is in civil war & we supported the removal of Mubarak
Libya is in civil war & we helped remove Omar Kaddafi
Afghanistan is starting into civil war as we are now leaving.
Our strategy is not working & we should stay at home unless these folks directly threaten us. ie / Iran..

Syria is in the midst of a civil war, or a grab for power. NO ONE asked for our assistance in Syria. It's NONE of our business. We have the United Nations to handle international affairs.

Other than what's already mentioned, is that our "help" would be to the KNOWN terrorists, the Muslim Brotherhood. It's just insane to help them in any way.

The last time we helped an Islam country, they repaid us by murdering 4 of our people.

We helped liberate Libya in 2011. We helped the Libyan rebels. They ended up torturing and murdering Gaddafi (Their leader). They brutally murdered him. The rebels didn't even try to put him in jail. They acted like murdering savages.

On 9/11/2012, the Libyan rebels, along with Al Qaeda, murdered our ambassador, and 3 other Americans. No one has been held accountable for those deaths.

The Syrian rebels are our sworn enemies. They are affiliated with Al Qaeda (remember 9/11?).
We are 17 trillion dollars in debt. We can't afford another war...especially, one that has NOTHING to do with us.

(Iran threatened that if we strike Syria they will strike us. Eventually, a bunch of other countries will get involved.)
3.we will lose many troops, money(weapons, supplies) for a country we have nothing to do with. Ex: if uk striked USA then it would be ok to start a war, even if many troops and money is gone, it will be a sacrifice for our own country. But we have nothing to do with Syria, so why should we waste troops and money.
