Printe status unavailble PLEASE help

Printe status unavailble? PLEASE help!?

It's a xerox work centre 7120 printer, it was working just fine last office day.
We recently got U-Verse installed and now this message "printer status is unavailable at this time" comes up everytime I try to print anything from the desktop . Whats wrong? What do I do?
