Examples of Stage 2 foods??!!!?when is the appropriate age of a baby to take stage 2 foods?
Other Answers:

If your baby does well with the single ingredient baby foods (1st stage) and don't develop any food allergies then you can move up to stage 2...stage 2 foods are still pureed...they are just not single ingredient like the stage 1's are. The reason you need to start at stage 1 is so that you know which foods your baby develops allergies on (if and when he/she does)....so then you know which foods to eliminate when you move up to stage 2. Obviously if you figured that your baby developed food allergies with pears (stage 1) you wouldn't give him oatmeal and pears with cinnamon (gerber - stage 2). If you bypass stage 1 and went straight to stage 2 then you wouldn't know if it was the oatmeal, the pears, or the cinnamon your baby is allergic to

It says on the label what stage it is. Once a baby is doing well eating Stage 1 and has eaten most of the items and not had a bad reaction then you can go to Stage 2. We started doing Stage 2 around 7 months.

Check out this website, it's got great information on all sorts of things. I've used it as a reference for all 3 of my girls, and I plan on using it for my fourth! (We're expecting again!)
