ok I live in Missouri and im a figure skater and I like just moved here and i cant figure out the best competition to enter would be how do you know if there will be real judges there and i wanna make sure there real judges because i have been in basic skills competitions where the judges werent real and normally its not very fair so if anyone lives here and knows where the best competitions are plese help me thanxxxx

Talk to a coach about your goals. The competitions you can enter are based on your skating level and the tests you have passed with either USFSA or ISI. A coach can help you with your skating goals to pass different tests and enter different competitions.

I would suggest getting a coach to work with at your local rink, and talk to them about your goals, and about what you would like to do in skating, and they should be able to help you decide which competitions are the best for you. You can also go to www.usfsa.org and do an event search for competitions in your area, but this is not always the best resource. Good luck.
