Yahoo messenger for some unknown reason it restarts her PC?

When my friend trys nd opens yahoo messenger for some unknown reason it restarts her PC?
she has run antivitrus and antispyware programs all been updated including microsofts latest (MRT) maliscious removel tool, can anyone please shed some light to what might be going on
