Process for Making Banners

Process for Making Banners? Process for Making Banners?

We are currently using 13oz single sided white 35x115 banner rolls. We feed the blank roll into the digital printer for print. It feeds onto an empty canister and the printed banners are on one roll. Once finished printing it is moved to the table for cutting. The roll is placed on the table and manually fed thru the cutter as each banner has to be measured to ensure they are the same size when cut.

Once cut, we use the double sided tape and tape each banner by measuring each side. Place the hemmed banner on the table under the top table where it is held until ready for grommets.

Once all are hemmed we take one banner hemmed put back on top table and manually measure for each grommet so that they are even on each side. 5 grommets top and bottom are punched into the banner.

Once the banner has grommets it is rolled up and placed on shelf for sales team to pick up and disburse to the dealers location. This process takes approximately 15mins to produce one banner. We need to be producing much more as we do not have the manpower to keep one person on this task for the entire 8hr day.

If you have a better method please advise. Thanks!!
