No she's not, not for a year.

All she can hope for is that she will be granted a Working Holiday visa. That will let her stay for 12 months but she can only work for 6 months of her stay to help finance her trip. There is also a minimum age of 18 but she can make enquiries now. The Australian High Commission in London has an excellent website with all the details. No doubt the Embassy in Madrid will tell her the same thing, she can apply there if she wishes.

Being an Aussie Im a tad blunt, as most of us are,and we say what we think. Your daughter will or wont come here depending on her visa status. I have never heard of a 12 month visitor visa. I have heard of getting the original 3 month tourist visa extended to 6 months. No visitor or tourist visa allows the holder to work here so am surprised someone above said can work for 3 months--uh-uh, nope, sorry.
18 is the min age for a work visa for 12 months and that was covered above. Yes, she WILL have to prove her ability to finance her stay. No, without proof of funds she will not get a visa.
Sorry but the premise anyone can rock up here just because they want to is a false one.

At 18 apply for a working holiday visa online, no fuss no mess:)

As long as there are no criminal convictions she will be accepted, there is apparently a quota per country per year, but they have never released the number and never 'sold out'

She may be requied that she has the finance to support herself for a while out there, unbtil she could reasonbably be expected to find a job, there are nbo guidelines for this but a couple of grands is the suggestions, take the lastest bank statement with her to show if needed, it wont be it never is

BNecause she is a British National she should sign up for Medicare when she gets there, this entitles here to free medical treatment while there
