A slow learner could be someone that takes longer than the average person to learn something such as math, reading, ect. It doesn't mean they are stupid it just means that the way the average person learns just doesn't work for a slow learner. They have to be taught a different way until they can understand. Not everyone learns the same way. Some are visual learners, some are auditory (hearing), some are more tactile (touch). Sometimes it is just finding the way that the slow learner learns best. A good teacher will work with the student until they figure what helps them catch on the best.

a slow learner is when a person is not as fast as the other .like math one child can do it in a jiff and you have a child that takes him or her a little longer .but does not mean that the child that is slower can not do it .and it does not mean this child needs to be in special aid it means the teacher in the class room needs to help the child that is slower not just teach the kids that are easy to teach this is what teachers are for in the class rooms.
