Can water slow down time

Can water slow down time? Can water slow down time?

can we slow down time by moving in water just like it slows down when one travels at speed of light?

Other Answers:

In a sense. If you have a really big water tank and you look through it at a distant object, like a star, you will see events on that star occur as seen through the water a short time after you will see them without the water. This will occur because the water slows down the light as it passes through it. This is an artificial slowing of time, because all you have to do to avoid it is to look around the tank instead of through it. I guess fish do not have that option, but that is not the same as slowing time due to things like relative motion or gravitational effects.

Well, if you were to get a planet sized blob of water, its gravity would cause relativistic time variations just like the Earth's gravity affects GPS satellite clocks.

No. There's never been any kind of evidence that would support slowing down time by moving in water.

It certainly has slowed down you brain functions
