Having a family name that is/was Jewish is hardly evidence - after all should we believe that Eddie Murphy is Irish or Whoopi Goldberg is Jewish?

If that were the case, I wouldn't worry about the Iranian people, the hierarchy of the Iranian government wouldn't take it very well, he'd probably end up mysteriously dead.

However, I'm sure that his background was checked for any type of "unpure" blood.
