Is the adoption market over saturated with babies? or are babie in high demand? Is the adoption market over saturated with babies? or are babie in high demand?

Babies are in high demand. That's why they are outsourcing the baby market to overseas. It's all about money and people don't even care about the children. Foster adoption is the way it should be. People just want to adopt a healthy, white, infant. How about a child who has lived most of their life in foster care? It's not their fault, why not adopt them?

Other Answers:

There is a high demand for babies in the UK but numbers of babies adopted here has dropped dramatically over the years so it is extremely difficult to adopt them.

The Domestic Baby Market is not 'over saturated', but rather in very short supply today. There is a 'high demand', for the supply/product (little of) on the Domestic Front.

There is a high demand for babies. The babies aren't in a "large supply", and this is why some agencies decide to coerce women into giving up their children. They need a fresh supply. They want to make women think that they cannot parent their own children, because to them, each child who comes across their desk is big $$$ for the agency.
Newborn adoption isn't about adopting a child in need. It is about supplying people who have the cash with the children they so desperately want. These children could have possibly been raised in their own families. This is why I cannot in anyway find it within myself to rally support for people who only want "healthy newborns". They aren't adopting to help a child. They are adopting because they want a baby.

The "market" is over saturated with infertile couples wanting babies.

The ratio is 150:1
