What is at issue is whether or not local governments like state and city governments can ban handguns.

Since they have ruled in the past that handguns are constitutionally protected, it is likely that they will rule that cities and local governments cannot ban handguns.

The decision will be a 5-4 decision. We already know which justices will vote, and how they will vote. The decision will be that cities like Chicago are in violation of the constitution.

There are other cities with very extreme gun laws. With the recent over turning of the D.C. Gun ban... The other cities are going to be challenged. The supreme court is going to decide if Local government can have such extreme gun laws when we have the right to bare arms. Good news is.. with the historic win in D.C. we will most likely be allowed to carry guns in any city. That is unless the liberals get rid of guns all together one day!
