Are you tired of Obama lies and distorting the truth? Are you tired of Obama lies and distorting the truth?

"We've had a red phone moment. It was the decision to invade Iraq. And Senator Clinton gave the wrong answer. George Bush gave the wrong answer. John McCain gave the wrong answer," Obama said.
This is the answer Obama gave today regarding his stance on national security. What Obama forgets to mention is that these votes and answers were made as soon as 2001 right after 911 ... Senator Obama was sworn into office January 4, 2005 ... meaning he had no chance to vote on the subject. There is a 90% chance that faced with the same intelligence provided at the time and based on the circumstances Obama would have voted FOR the war and given Bush the vote of confidence he today blames McCain and Clinton of giving. Clinton made a vital point in the last debate noting that since the arrival of Obama at the senate they both voted the same exact way. How can Obama blame others for doing something he didn't do hen he was actually not given a chance to do so?

Other Answers:

no, since obama isn't telling lies nor is he distorting the truth.

what i'm sick of is all these smear-tactic rants out here.

next...

Obama did come out against the war while running for office in Illinois. It is a lie to suggest he didn't take political heat for taking that unpopular stance at the time or that it is unfair for him to whip Democratic candidates who turned a blind eye to Bush's lies because it made political sense at the time.

It was not a given that Bush was telling the truth when the WOMD logic came out. There are a number of articles from that time period that questioned Bush's arguements as non-factual. A large chunk of America questioned the legitimacy of our government's reports, but the Dem leaders rubberstamped it.

The facts are, the Dems in congress as a whole --- Hillary included --- rolled over for Bush because it would have been politically difficult to oppose the national desire for revenge against the middle east in general and desire to put down Saddam.

IMO, cahllenging her on that is more than fair game, it is a just reward for Hillary and other Dem's chickenshit actions.

One could argue that the Indy's have taken over the Democratic party based on the DEM incumbent's lack of spine on this issue.
