Is the distance worth it?hotel and transportation question? Is the distance worth it?hotel and transportation question?

so ill be going to Malaysia with a tour in like 2 months, the hardest thing that i have to deal with right now is picking a hotel,my boyfriend wont be getting a tour so he has to pay for everything himself when with 700 bucks ill be paying for tickets, visa, hotel and one meal
we are going to stay for 9 days so i have to pick a nice, cheap, decent hotel in a safe place
here is the list of the hotels that my agency offers
1.dynasty 2.flamingo ( by the lake) 3.grand season 4. sucasa 5.seri pacific 6. renaissance 7.nikko/crown plaza
we were going to go for dynasty but the reviews that it got on trip advisor seem horrible,so we decided that flamingo's price range is suitable but the problem is flamingo is really away from the city
is it worth it?if you had to pick a decent not so expensive hotel from the list which one would you choose?

Other Answers:

Flamingo and Sucasa are quite cheap the other hotels are 5 star and above. Welcome To Malaysia. Malaysia Truly Asia. Anyway that mentioned hotels are not that far from the city center.

Nikko is 5 min walk away from KLCC but way too much over-priced.
Seri Pacific is abt 100m from the LRT but way too over-priced.
Dynasty - NO NO NO, over-priced for such a location / facilities.
Flamingo / Sucasa not within walking distance of anywhere.

I suggest the followings:
Grand Seasons - cheaper / 5-min walk from KLMonorail (heading to Bukit Bintang shopping / nightlife district). Grand facilies but thelocality is not as vibrant as ''Renaissance''

Renaissance is 5 star - try its 4 star twin-sister hotel ''''New World Hotel'' They are 2 hotel towers side by side, under the same management. New world is a lot cheaper. 5 min walk from KLMonorail just in front of Hard Rock cafe @ concord hotel, and abt 15 min walk to KLCC.

I am happy with my stays at both Grands seasons / New World hotels. Grands seasons is more grand / spacious than New World, though.
