sometimes you can get a welcome to new orleans packet and there's combo tickets. i love the imax i used to go all of the time (i'm from new orleans)
Combo tickets range from 30.00 and up, depending on which package you select. Some contain, the zoo cruise and Aquarium and Imax tickets.
The Imax was great, New Orleans has about the best one I've been to yet, and my kids loved it.
You can buy the tickets online or at the Imax theatre. I think I bought the two package Imax and Aquarium for about 35. per person.

The other answers are correct. If you are going as a family, consider getting a membership that includes both the Aquarium and the Zoo. You get unlimited visits for your family and discounts at the gift shop and IMAX theater.
