Help please on caravan issues?

hi me and my mate both 22 are having problems at home we both want to move out but in this current economic state we arnt looking for a flet or house.we are thinking of buying a cheap caravan and staying in there for a while untill some others doors open for us.so the question is where are the best places to stay and what can the authorites do if they come upon us.we are thinking of moving everyhight or so to stay out of everyones way and not get caught as such.but we are worried about getting the van taken off us and we will have nothing and be homeless?we both work and pay taxes and will not become as travvelers do we will clean up any mess before we move on etc any advice really welcome

Firstly if you can't afford the rent because your income is low then you may be able to claim housing benefit and/or council tax benefit? Some bedsits are only ?50 a week. Or have you thought about lodging in someones spare room?

You need to make sure that you have the caravan taxed and insured. You can legally park in some of the layby's but some will have signs saying no overnight parking. You have to consider where your post will go too? You could get a PO box.

I think that you will be considered as a traveller and you will have to be careful where you park and make sure that you have a portable toilet!

Buy lots of blankets too!
